Allgrain brewing

  1. crush the grains enough to break the grain shell but not pulverize it
  2. warm water to strike temperature
  3. add grain
  4. keep at same heat ~1 hour
  5. fly or batch sparge (run same temp water through the grain bed)
  6. boil mash for ~1 hour
  7. chill quickly to room temperature
  8. rack (siphon) to primary fermenter
  9. pitch (add) yeast
  10. wait a few days
  11. rack to secondary fermenter
  12. wait a couple weeks
  13. bottle/keg beer
