These are movies recommended by the authors of hackepedia.org. If there are any you feel are something others must watch for enlightenment or an alternative perspective, feel free to add.

BBC's "Power of Nightmares" is a 3 part mini series that is a must see. It gives insite into the psychological hacking that has created the extreme views of both the East and the West.

End of Suburbia If you watch no other movies this year, watch this one. It shows the media and political hacking the auto industry giants have done to create suburbia, and explains the issues with the peak of oil production, which is right now.

The movie "Hackers". No really. You're supposed to show disappointment, otherwise you have no clue. In fact any movie about the computer underground is going to be cheesy. The underground doesn't exist, the underground is you. If you don't want to be hacked then you shouldn't have bought/borrowed the movie. Someone out there always wants to see your reaction in order to judge you. The verdict comes later in life.

Das Boot One of best (anti-) war movies ever made. Make sure to see the Director's Cut version if possible.

The Corporation is a documentary that exlores the characteristics of a corporation, and compares them with that of a psychopath.

Manufactured Landscapes has been recommended and apparently will make you think about where the world is headed with regards to sustainability. If nothing else, stunning photography as well!
