OpenBSD is a Unix-like Operating System.  It is free to download, copy and modify.  It is not similar to Linux because it was based on the 4.4BSD Operating System developed at the University of California at Berkeley (UCB).  Theo de Raadt is the projects fearless leader, and he's a nice individual.  Nicest man you'll ever meet.
