I'll never understand why they don't add a little more to the single "hostname" binary for example, so that when you run "hostname foo" it would update the +5 neccesary files that need touched to change ones hostname.

I'll never understand why they don't add a little more to the single "hostname" binary for example, so that when you run "hostname foo" it would update the +5 neccesary files that need touched to change ones hostname. You might want to try
