Jump to navigationJump to searchThere are various VNC servers and clients. In this example, I'm running tightvncserver on Debian GNU/Linux and tightvncviewer on WinXP.
On the server:
$ tightvncserver New 'X' desktop is 192.168.1.5:1 Starting applications specified in /home/user/.vnc/xstartup Log file is /home/user/.vnc/192.168.1.5:1.log
On the desktop:
