Interesting, thanks. Did you measure power while doing a numerically intensive task that also hits the disk almost constantly? It should be significantly higher than when the computer is idle.

What I did for each test, was leave the meter on for at least 48 hours to gain an average. This means the total would be combined with a mixture of usage and non-usage over that period.
